Chattanooga's Tennessee River Walk Mile Markers

I took a bike ride on the River Walk today, and on the way back I decided to get some pictures of the mile markers with my phone. Here they are, in order from the Chickamauga Dam to Ross' Landing.

I have all but stopped posting photos here because of issues with my T-Mobile MDA that is ancient and has been dropped so many times I have had to take it apart and re-solder it.

But that's all changing. I just pre-ordered the T-Mobile G1, which is the first "Google phone" that has the Android operating system. It's got wi-fi, G3, a 3.1mp camera, accelerometers, GPS, street view, a compass for direction awareness...

Dig it. It will be delivered to me on 10/22/08.

Yes, it's true. Spotted at the corner of Market and MLK on the afternoon of 3/22/08 was a squad of maybe 10 people of various ages and races and genders running about frantically in green dresses. Yes, both men and women. This gentleman opted not for a full-length number, but rather for a tasteful bright yellow skirt and yellow and black striped stockings (like a Wizard of Oz witch on acid) with a green shirt and a green wig. I think my favorite out of the clan was a muscular black gentleman in an A-line green chiffon. What were they doing? I have no idea. They were pretty fast runners, however.
